Coffee may Work as Female Viagra in Future
If we go by the research conducted by Fay Guaracci, an assistant Professor of Psychology at South Western University and Stacey Benson, a 2005 graduate, Coffee containing caffeine can be an answer to the problems of the females, particularly, the decrease in libido.
The study entitled ‘Coffee, Tea and Me: Moderate doses of caffeine effect on sexual behavior of female rats' is the first of its kind and is the first ever study done to find out the relation between the effects of caffeine and sex in females.
The study published in a forthcoming issue of pharmacology, biochemistry and behavior found that the administration of caffeine in moderate doses to the female rats made them to return to their male partners soon after they received an ejaculation once. This proved that caffeine affected female sexual behavior of the mammals and thus motivated the female rats to come back to their male partners more often. If this can be true for the mammals such as rats it can be true for the other mammals like humans as well.
The Professor Far Guaracci however said that the effect of caffeine may not be seen on all females as humans do have the habit of taking moderate amount of caffeine on a daily basis. The rats on which the tests were performed did not ever have caffeine and thus the effect of caffeine was clearly observed. Similarly the effect of caffeine on the sexual behavior of humans can be noticed only on such people who are not habitual users of coffee.
